Construction is booming in Nova Scotia, with even more projects expected in the years ahead.
To meet this demand, we need skilled, experienced tradespeople who know how to do the job right – and who can share their knowledge with those coming up behind them in the industry.
Becoming a certified journeyperson means your skills are recognized, you’re more competitive in the job market, and you’re earning top wage. You’re also growing and shaping the future of your trade by mentoring others.
Be the journeyperson who makes a difference.
Journeypersons are essential to the apprenticeship system. It is through JPs that we strengthen the trades workforce and create capacity for more work in the future. As a JP, you can be proud of building lasting infrastructure and a stable, respected, high-demand career.
