Financial Aid

Students accepted in our full-time programs can apply for government student loans. The Building Trades Advancement College is a Designated Educational Institution, and therefore eligible for student loan funding.

Student Loans

You may be eligible for financial assistance from the Federal and Provincial government through the Canada Student Loans and Nova Scotia Student Loans programs . You only need to submit one application.

Nova Scotia Student Assistance

The Nova Scotia Student Assistance website is a “one-stop shop” for all things concerning student loans in the province. Whether you’re looking to apply to a program in a year’s time, six, or even three months, you’ll find answers to all of your questions here.

Student Lines of Credit - East Coast Credit Union

BTAC has a relationship with Suzanne Young at East Coast Credit Union where their student lines of credit are available to any full or part-time student attending a recognizable post-secondary institution in a degree, diploma or certificate program.
